battery tester Monitor Connection Instructions:

Connections to 12-volt accessory power:
The battery tester monitor and display are powered of your accessory 12-volt supply in your vehicle. This supply is isolated out of the main battery tester pack in the majority of vehicles plus the monitor preserves this isolation with an internal DC-DC converter. Note that the two measurement and display metal boxes are connected to the 12-volt system ground. They donrrrt want to touch the main battery tester terminals or use the positive terminal with the 12-volt system.

The 12-volt capability the meter is supplied within the un-marked red and black wires around the 24-pin AMP circular plastic connector. (red is positive and black is negative) Be careful to simply connect these wires to 12-volts without having to to many of the main battery tester wires. This will damage or destroy the device.

The monitor will still work with vehicles lacking an isolated 12-volt system but keep in mind the metal cases are associated with whatever 12-volt ground you supply to your red and black wires.

Connections for the main battery tester pack:
The 24-pin AMP circular plastic connector houses the connections to each and every of your batteries mainly pack. Wire #0 is coupled to the traction battery tester ground,

There has to be a small-value fuse in series with each battery tester connection as close in to the battery tester as you possibly can (preferably smaller than a 1A fuse closer than 1 foot from each battery tester terminal.)
